## Elementary Math.

Our informative and entertaining classes on math and logic are conducted one-on-one or in small groups (up to 6 students) by highly qualified and experienced teachers having a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. All classes meet the State common core requirements, but are enriched with challenging tasks and problems based on the Russian method proved to be highly effective and competitive.

### 1st Grade

The 1^{st} Grade Math and Logic program is a great way to help your kid to succeed at school and to develop his visual memory, logic, special sense and other mental abilities. Besides arithmetic, we introduce children to elementary algebra and geometry. Our curriculum correlates to the State requirements, but is deeply enriched with multiple challenging tasks and problems based on Common Core Standards and the Russian methods.

At these fun and yet challenging classes, the students will work on the following:

- Time and clocks
- Money
- Various patterns
- Weight
- Metric measurements
- Position and spatial relationships (left-right, up-down; top, middle, inside)
- Line and segments
- Perimeter
- Congruent shapes
- Line of symmetry
- Algebraic symbols
- Commutative property of addition
- Logic problems
