Art classes at LMLC for all ages
At LMLC people not only have the opportunity to excel in logic based and
scholarly studies, but in the arts as well. Students of all ages will learn from talented LMLC art teachers that, yes, anyone can draw. Anyone who is passionate about art will find that LMLC creates personalized lessons for both individuals and small class groups that will help them achieve their artistic goals.
Our beginning classes for ages 4-5 will focus on color differentiation, developing some fine motor skills through coloring, and fun group poster projects. You can expect a lot of game-play and beginner craft projects from this class as your children learn the ABC’s of art.
This class targeted towards 6-8 year olds will teach kids the basics of drawing, color properties, and tackling more individualized art projects. Game-play will also involve teaching kids to work together in order to complete larger art projects.
Grades 2-4; Grades 5-8
Made for your elementary or middle school aged students who may be curious about the artistic world, these classes will help them explore their talents. The instructor will have students practice their technical skills by learning to draw people and everyday objects. Students will become more confident in their work as they learn to draw their favorite things.
Grades 2-4; Grades 5-8
This level is for students who are already somewhat confident around a pencil and paintbrush but want to further their skills. Students will learn some of the finer points of mixing color and will start to practice drawing simple scenes as opposed to just objects from life. In addition, they will learn about published artists and how to tell a story through their art.
Grades 2-4; Grades 5-8
Practice, practice, practice! This class is about building upon the students’ art skills. Students will continue practicing their technical drawing and painting ability while also starting to look at their artistic influences and find their personal style.
Students who already know how to draw and paint will still have a lot to learn in this class. The instructor will introduce some basic perspective drawing and the basic principles of light and shadow. Designing a composition will be introduced along with introductory color theory. Students will continue to look at established professional artists and continue learning to draw influence from them. This class is excellent for students who are serious about perfecting their artistic skills.
Whatever age or skill level an adult student might be at, LMLC can craft a
personal lesson that will fit the student. Starting from crayons and shapes or
graphite sketches and pastels, either way, LMLC has instructors who are ready to take students to the next step in their artistic journey.

Our customers’ stories
My daughter attends the LMLC school specifically for math and English. I've seen her grades improve over time. Both teachers are excellent and very patient with her. The owner is always willing to help and is proactive with checking in to make sure that all is well. I would definitely recommend this school to those that are looking to help improve their kids grades.
My daughter began taking Geometry lessons at Language and Math Learning Center a few months ago. Math has always been a difficult subject for her, and she was struggling to keep up in class. Her tutor, Teja Sripada, has been very helpful explaining and practicing concepts, preparing for tests and generally encouraging her. I even received a note from the teacher commenting how much my daughter had improved in Geometry! My daughter will also be working on Spanish over the summer with a different tutor. Olga the owner has been very proactive about checking in to make sure the service was meeting our needs. I would highly recommend this learning center to anyone else out there struggling with math or languages.
We take Math lessons in this school for 2 years already. Many options to choose from, many competent teachers, general flexibility and reasonable prices.
My boys (7 and 9 y.o.) have been taking Russian lessons with Olga for about 6 month now.
I am very pleased with the progress they are making. I feel like they are steadily climbing up the learning curve. Their vocabulary has expanded and I am pleasantly surprised with their willingness to work with Olga in the classroom and me, when we do our homework. I am emphasizing "the willingness" here, because it was a struggle before, when they were taking Russian elsewhere. We tried 2 teachers before. They were tears and drama before every class. They didn't want to go there, they did not want to do their homework. I feel like Olga found the right approach with my boys and tailored the program to their needs and level, which is while being stress free still challenges them.
I would definitely recommend Olga. She is very professional, approachable, flexible and diligent. The way she conducts the business makes me believe in high standards of other teachers and classes at her Learning Center.
