Our customers’ stories
Our daughter started taking Russian language classes at Language and Math Learning center last September, one month later we moved to US from Russia (Saint-Petersburg). We wanted her to learn by playing and keep her having fun while learning to support the huge interest towards Russian culture and language and to provide a smooth transition to a new environment. It was pretty tough to find a Russian language teacher who was not only able to follow this approach without heaping extreme amounts of academic pressure but also was capable to provide a solid knowledge base.
So finally we found Olga, the owner of Languages and Math Learning Center. Olga is very patient and affectionate and has a great rapport with all of the kids. I think its a good reflection on our teacher that my daughter loves speaking, writing and reading in Russian and comes home wanting to share what she's learning. Also we feel very connected with the school because Olga always takes the time to give us an update on our daughter's progress and achievements.
Warm and sweet person who really loves kids. Nothing but the absolute highest marks).
My girls (8 and 5 yo) are learning Russian language with Olga and her team in LMLC staring on September 2016. Our goal was to improve their writing and speaking skills. During the year, both of them made significant progress. The lessons in the center are well prepared and organized, Olga is very flexible with the lessons' structure and timing, giving us the opportunity to add these valuable classes to our pretty busy schedule. The classrooms are well equipped for the tutoring purposes. The center provides a lot of extra-curriculum lessons in a variety of areas, so it's highly recommended to all the families looking to enrich the education of their children beyond the regular school level.
My daughter attends the LMLC school specifically for math and English. I've seen her grades improve over time. Both teachers are excellent and very patient with her. The owner is always willing to help and is proactive with checking in to make sure that all is well. I would definitely recommend this school to those that are looking to help improve their kids grades.
My daughter began taking Geometry lessons at Language and Math Learning Center a few months ago. Math has always been a difficult subject for her, and she was struggling to keep up in class. Her tutor, Teja Sripada, has been very helpful explaining and practicing concepts, preparing for tests and generally encouraging her. I even received a note from the teacher commenting how much my daughter had improved in Geometry! My daughter will also be working on Spanish over the summer with a different tutor. Olga the owner has been very proactive about checking in to make sure the service was meeting our needs. I would highly recommend this learning center to anyone else out there struggling with math or languages.
